BACKGROUND:
Carol Sutton has been a licensed Realtor in Montana since 1981 and obtained her broker's license in 1983. Prior to 1981, she was licensed in the state of Tennessee. In addition to marketing and selling residential properties, Carol has extensive experience in assisting clients with 1031 exchanges, income and investment properties, as well as land and commercial properties. She holds the Graduate Realtor? Institute (GRI), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), and Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designations and is a longtime member of the Montana Million Dollar Club. She is also a member of the National, Montana and Gallatin Association of Realtors?, National and Montana CRS Chapters and the Southwest Montana Multiple Listing Service. Carol began her career in real estate with Century 21, most recently was affiliated with ERA Landmark and in January, 2004, formed her own company, Carol Sutton Real Estate.

EDUCATION:
Carol graduated from Manhattan, Montana High School and received a two-year real estate degree from Memphis State University. In addition, she continually attends seminars and training classes in order to keep up-to-date on changes in the real estate industry.
PERSONAL:
A native of Gallatin Valley, Carol had the opportunity to also live in Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, San Diego, CA, and Memphis, TN. Carol credits her 10-year's absence from Montana and her experience of living in urban areas with helping her to understand and relate to the desire of others to live in our great state. Carol and her husband, Jim, a Navy retiree, made a final move home to Montana in 1981. Carol and Jim have a personal interest in rescuing dachshunds. In doing so, they have adopted two dachshund pups, Tiny and Sissy, who help encourage their owners to take nightly walks through the neighborhood.
